The Thief ----

I wanted to meet my neighbor, so here I was. I had lost my shoes a hundred yards back. I was in my socks and in slippery, sucking, clam filled mud half way to my knees. I handed the clam digger - Rodger is his name, a cold but mud covered beer.

He told me of the five lazy eagles that fly above. They get their fish from the osprey - it's not right, the osprey need to eat too you know...

Beautiful thief. Keep chasing him down and make him pay for his food by modeling for you.

Nicely painted background too. Are you starting from scratch on these or using something as a base? I'm trying to do it both ways, and sometimes mixing the two. Starting with a texture that has pleasing colors can make it easier sometimes...

yep - I use the same strategy, figuring colors first is most important (not that I picked good colors, but for example I googled Eagle Colors and it gave me a palette that I could use. I think the BG is still too busy, I have to do better integrating the eagle so that it doesn't look pasted on, it has to feel right...

the osprey did not come... perhaps it will have it's strength return and I will see it as it is.

Until then a simple snapshot of my clam digging friend Roger (Rodger? I hear the D) - the tide comes in, the work is done, and it is time to go home.

Thanks Frank,
LOL, or lobster - strangely we don't care for seafood - a simple cheese sandwich is all I need, plus a bag of chips perhaps!

You must develop a taste for lobster. You may be forgiven for the clams but not the lobster.

A good lobster roll should cure you. I can suggest a few places...
