This week's theme: using distortion tools

the first one is a new dam bird photo with a small wave turned into a tsunami and some stars distorted and dragged through the holes in the structure, then some fish folded up and stuffed into a basket.

The second is a composite of two older swamp shots, using the linear blur tool and the mixer brush.
The second reminds me of something, like a Dr. Seuss Tim Burton mashup of dreams. Well done one both! S-

Graffiti, Street Art -

Must go archive-diving again since I live nowhere near any graffiti or street art opportunities. I have to go into the city tomorrow and might make a quick swipe through, but our Covid situation is so dire, I won't leave my car. It would be interesting to see the MASH-type field hospitals the feds and other medical volunteers who normally serve in foreign disasters are building, but the risk is too great. It's severe enough just going to the market.

So here is a shot from better days, my trip to Iceland where graffiti has become an architectural expectation. I redid it from a photo to an artistic piece.

Thanks. I did venture out to get a particular little piece of grafitti that I've always liked near where I used to work. As luck would have it I got in the middle of a high speed police chase and nearly got smashed by the culprit running the red light.

Back to the country...
