Between Canon and Nikon.Which is best for a beginner.
Both are excellent. So are Sony, Panasonic, Olympus. Handle a camera in a shop before you buy and be sure the design fits your hands. Then learn to use whatever you like best, and you will be happy.

Re: Fading Into Dust

Damn, Steve, That’s just plain depressing! you doing ok? Seriously? Dave Hey Dave, I'm okay, just lost I guess, and trying to find my way home. I thought it was a mild case of the blues but I can't seem to find my way back to my camera again. I'm sure I'm just feeling down, but it's been years sinc...

Re: A Dimensional Departure

Hi, Min, A few more hints: Bifocals and trifocals - and “lineless” multi focal specs are the kiss-0’- death…far better to use single power “readers” if you hav them. Contact lenses - one “near” and the other “far” won’t work either. Hope you have some luck with one or more of these techniques on ei...

Re: A Dimensional Departure

Geez, I still can't get anywhere with it. I will try this exercise on my iPad, though, I think it would be easier since I can raise/lower it, and the computer monitor is stationary.

Re: Minnie's 2021 Project 52

This week's assignment: Golden Spiral. I learned something important. Lightroom (and probably ACR) have a variety of...

Re: Minnie's 2021 Project 52

Weekly Prompt: Inspired by a Song Well since I was the week at the country house with little time for the camera and lots of chores, I went with Simon and Garfunkel's "Homeward Bound". I walk to the gate with Zeke most mornings, just as I did as a child. It still gives me a warm feeling wh...

Complementary colors

Well, I’m at the country house, and I find myself quite surrounded by green/magenta so I may post extras. Ripening blueberries fit the ticket I think, but so does other stuff.. starting with the berries.
I like the texture and colors very much.
thanks Piet.
