Re: Minnie's 2021 Project 52

Weekly Prompt: Inspired by a Song Well since I was the week at the country house with little time for the camera and lots of chores, I went with Simon and Garfunkel's "Homeward Bound". I walk to the gate with Zeke most mornings, just as I did as a child. It still gives me a warm feeling w...

Re: Minnie's 2021 Project 52

Complementary colors Well, I’m at the country house, and I find myself quite surrounded by green/magenta so I may post extras. Ripening blueberries fit the ticket I think, but so does other stuff.. starting with the berries. This one doesn’t do much for me- sorta dark and lacking, specifically, in ...

I didn't have much luck with the eclipse. It was cloudy, I didn't have the right settings, and only briefly did the sliver of moon slip between the clouds and its own oblivion. The sunrise just after it disappeared was slightly more interesting, so here's what I saw.
I do especially love #4!

Just a little play with mixer brush.
Wonderful to encounter an artwork impossible to conceive being accomplished by anyone other than its artist!

Re: Left Handed Catcher

There aren't any left handed catchers in baseball but a kindergartner doesn't know that so this one enjoys the position without worrying about his limitations. Like all the photos I shoot of him through the terrible fencing we have at kids' baseball fields, it was an awful photo: fence in front of ...

Re: 'Ole' Blue Eyes'

Since I haven't been on the streets in over a year, I thought I would go through some old files to re-process. This one was in Vegas 2014. My original process at that time was in B&W. I thought I would give a grunge color attempt a try for a change. Yep! Dey’s blue! Super image, Dave! Dave Yepe...
