It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.
Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers.

The image was a 3 exposure set with ISO 100. f2.8 and shutter speeds of 1/500th, 1/125th and 1/30th of a second. I have used this example a few times but failed. Whilst the scene is boring, the early morning light and the heavy shade from the tres in the garden really stretched my abilities previously. I had never been able to successfully blend the nicely. This was my 2nd LR6 Merge to HDR attempt and it is painless. No processing in photoshop, just some minor adjustments on the develop sliders after the hdr was created. Not knowing much about HDR, I am impressed by this improvement over the previous photoshop/lightroom kludge that I had tried a few times.
