background is overwhelming me, and like to see it with way less saturation. Judge the eye later (but if background is toned down, might be able to go easier on eye too).

and when I close the critical eye and let the other eye look, I love the colors. It is vivid and alive and strong.

I know right? But the point is, this kind of stuff is truly the eye of the beholder - no right, no wrong..

edit- one thing I like very much is that the colors in the subject to a strong degree match the background, the browns and greens. However, thinking logically, the yellow does not - and the yellow is a very strong color - and thus the background has stolen all (well.. at least a lot of) attention.
LOL - I completely understand. What is Your Impression? What do You think about it? Lay down on the couch, close your eyes, and spill your guts out!
