Scottish Salt Flats, 2017 reprise

Post by minniev »

Yesterday I had a nice online visit with Graham Smith, who is like all of us now, home confined and waiting for the next shoe to fall. Graham, who is in UK, is now just as accessible as my next door neighbor. He is OK, continuing his recovery from his stroke and surgery at home, in the current conditions. He and I worked on a couple of images we took in Scotland, and shared them.

Here's mine, and also a shot I took of Graham taking photos in the bog.

thank you for sharing about Graham, and these are wonderful images. Getting in touch with old friends is exactly what we need to be doing.

Thanks for the info on Graham. I thought he was a member here and hopefully he will return for more frequent visits. Love both of your posted images, but the B&W has to be and is a favorite of the two.

Thanks Piet. And you're right, I rely on my online friends so much now to keep my sanity.

Thanks Dave. Graham did post here for a while, but quit posting everywhere when he had a stroke a year ago, then he had heart surgery and is just now getting where he can type. He's started posting a little on UHH and I'll eventually drag him back over here too.
