Nice action shots here. I like the concentration that you can see on the face of the surfer in the second one.

Week 23/52
With two cameras swamped in dirt I used the Canon 50D the cleaner of the two for these shots.
Kite surfing

water sports and being on the beach are definitely my preferred image capture at the moment. Tried something a little different with one of my Kite Boarding Buddies. Shooting into the sun.

Week 25 / 52 Been an unusual week for me Camera has only been on an outing twice and only used once. Excuse the continued Kite surfing subject. Back on the 5d decided to use a wider angle on the lens with the 24 -105mm being a better option for hopefully capturing the kite in the image also.

Nice shots Eric! Really like the first one. Looks like he got a bit of air between him and the water.

Thanks Guys. I did like the feeling of height that the wider angle creates. The use of different lenses and cameras over the last couple of weeks has been quite a revolution for myself. I had brought the 5dmkiii thinking the 50D would be redundant but this is not the case. Both cameras have there pros and cons. Using the 24mm focal length has changed my position relative to the action. More thought has been required towards the backdrop. The boys are enjoying the images captured of themselves.
Paul the heat has definitely arrived. It is currently shaping up similar to last year altho earlier with 1 day of heat followed by a cool change. (Seabreezes)
