Morning At The Dam

Post by minniev »

There are quite a few birds at the dam right now, enough that they are arguing over perches once again. The blue heron seemed to be studying the gold coins floating in the outflow. Morning does strange things here.

Thanks Frank. You know my dam series is often a kitchen sink affair...

This is a really intriguing location. The tonality and composition of your photographs make it even more so.

Thanks Bob. It’s been an addictive project because the birds, the light and the water, while in an unpicturesque and contained area, change constantly, giving me new possibilities.

Minne, I can easily see the allure of this location. The somewhat mysterious looking features of the dam, provided by the lighting, really are intriguing. You work with them really well.
