Project 52Minnie's 2020 52 Project

The goal of Project 52 is to take a photo a week. This is an easier pace than the Project 365.

I do try. It's the only discipline I have that keeps me remembering where the camera is in times that my muse has fled me.

Theme: Emotion

It has rained for 29 days out of the past 30 so I'm short on new outdoor photos. Therefore I recruited my youngest grandson to help with this assignment, since he and I have been having discussions about recognizing feelings. I asked him to name four different feelings that he experiences and show me what they look like. the photos are just iphone shots, but brought into PS for practice in framing scrapbook style content, color grading, text and so on.

Thanks, I wasn't totally content but it was not for anything but practice. Luke will probably like it.

Streetlights

I do not like streetlights and often clone them out so this was not a welcome topic. If I was somewhere that had pretty streetlights like New Orleans or Barcelona or Victoria, I'd enjoy photographing them. But in Mississippi the things are strictly utilitarian and usually dilapidated. So I took a photo of the ugly street light on the corner by my house, and played with it.

The hardest part was making an eyeball from a Dresden plate.
