Help Me Figure Out Something To Do With This

Post by minniev » Mon Sep 16, 2019 5:33 pm

My travel buddy and I got caught in a sudden squall in Newfoundland and pulled off the road. Beside us in a small unmarked pond was this odd collection of small handcrafted boats, and some elements of a tiny coastal village sized properly for fairies. There was no explanation. As soon as the rain died down we snapped shots of it in front of the sunset on the storm clouds. It seems like there ought to be something creative I could do with it, but I haven't thought it up yet. I did some basic editing but I can't think up anything for it.

Do you have ideas? Would you try?

in this regard you and I are exact opposites. You like the kitchen sink, and all the time I find myself with a single spoon. It is weird...

Yeah but I didn’t build this sink and there was no way to make a spoon of it. They are boats suitable for elves. I don’t like it so much as was amazed and puzzled about it. Now i can’t figure anything to do with it.

Btw all artistic theory says you are right and I am an idiot. :)

yeah, or Gulliver... The scene seems so real that I don't see the miniaturization. So something else has to be introduced to allow the scale to be felt.

That’s part of my problem. They look like a crowded harbor of ugly boats.

There was nothing there in real life other than our rental car which would not have worked well either. A giant fox... y’all keep thinking. Or playing, even better..

And a giant fox drinking out of the far side...wearing a collar.

I have a fox drinking, but I do not have any pictures of little girls. I don't know any of those.
