Re: 'Light Keeper' (composite)
Since this got me thinking about it again, I also researched and found out I was wrong.....good work Duck. I will say the first scene has a boat dock very similar to one of minniev's shots...very tall wall and long way down to the boat and water, I would have bet money and lost while I was in the theater....

Maybe a documentary video would be in order for the Monhegan visit? Something to think about and fun at the same time.minniev wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:30 pmThe only movie I know of that was filmed on Monhegan was The Congressman. It was actually written/produced by a real congressman from Maine who knew Monhegan well. Many of the citizens of Monhegan are in it (limited pool of extras out there!), and the scenery is so familiar to me that it's distracting, like when they filmed a movie in my hometown when I was in my teens. I've visited some fishing villages in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Scotland, and there are similarities, but Monhegan is more decidedly New England-ish than the others to me.

That would be fun, and challenging. I'm struggling to teach myself video editing. A whole different set of skills.

Video editing can be time consuming. I too, have interest and struggle as well. I was a little bit familiar with Adobe Premiere several years ago, but forgot most and now will have to relearn. I expect the Monhegan trip/visit will be an educational experience, especial with your presence and skills to share. I'm sure we'll learn something new from each other. I'm looking forward to the visit !!!
