Thanks Frank.
I have to have something to play with... my kids are in Bible school this week.

For Everything There Is A Season
Including garlic. It has now finished its bloom and toppled. The leaves are yellow and wilted. So from what I am reading it is time to harvest. I dug up 3 of them to experiment. When I dug up this one, out of the ground came this interesting piece of cloth. It is rotted but still discernible. How long does cloth stay underground? Does garlic change that? Who buried it? What did it used to be? I dunno. But here it is.

Ha! It was weird digging it up like that. But I've dug up other oddities, like the dishes I posted last year, an antique pharmaceutical compounding bowl, a knife, the front plate off a blacksmith forge built in the 1800s, and a tiny green toilet the size for a toddler, with all its plumbing attachments.
