Wow! I'm going to try to lock my trash up and see if I can make it go away like that. I like the shot, don't know if the magenta is helping it, hurting it, or my imagination.

Yes, that would be a good idea, lock your trash up !!! Glad you like it Piet. I'm not sure how the magenta version got past me, totally a mistake. I suppose thats what happens when we get old and have more than one version of the same image. Oh my gosh !!!! I can't believe it. I agree, the magenta hurts, hurts, hurts.
Dave
Ha! But in a fashion it worked. I did not realize that it had that color to it for a full five seconds. I agree that the pure image has a grace and depth to it, but the magenta version absolutely grabbed the eye and then ripped it asunder.

Strange how the eyes will deceive us. How this got past Frank, I'll never know. I appreciate you pointing it to me. It may have been months before I took notice.

Well I was just keeping quiet about it as I thought you was presenting what you wanted......I like the non color version also but now the scratch effect and your logo is gone...was that also intentional Mr. Chinn???

As I mentioned to Piet, I created more than one version. One with the scratch layer and one without. The scratched layer had a magenta film type filter that I chose by mistake, so I went back to my PSD file to make my corrections and delete all the other versions. I may have done this previously on another image sometime back and didn't learn from my mistake. Help from fellow friends/photographers is always required and welcomed to guide me through the end of the tunnel !!! Thanks for the HELP !!!

I just don't want you or anyone else to start thinking I'm picking your images apart...I truly am just stating my opinions and noticing things I see in an attempt to help and never with ill will....as always take what might help and throw away what doesn't

All is good Frank and I do understand your point. I would never think ill will from you. "What might help and throw away what doesn't", have always been my thoughts.

I like the old school scratch filter, and hope I never find my bike this way. Love your eye! S-
