Project 52Minnie's 52

The goal of Project 52 is to take a photo a week. This is an easier pace than the Project 365.

Minimalism - Well everyone knows I am as un-minimalistic as anyone can be. So I had to just shoot a simple single thing and leave it alone.

A cream pitcher made by my aunt when she was studying at Chicago Art institute around 1930.

The processing is just Lightroom, using the new Profiles section as a starting point. If you haven't fooled with it, you should. They work very differently than most presets, and seem to be meant as a starting point rather than a full recipe.

Almost missed this week, it's time for another! A week in the country, with a family Labor Day celebration and a bunch of other things distracted me from my camera.

My wheel gave me Dawn's First Light this time, so I took a picture as the first sun peeped through my kitchen's eastern window.
