Some of them just have to stay in color don't they? This is one of them. Well spotted and well "angled"..

You oughta come join us in New Orleans in September for more that have to remain in color. viewtopic.php?f=85&t=4168

Minnie, I'd love to meet up with you in New Orleans. Unfortunately, I started a camera project that is going to dip into my travel funds. I'll keep that in mind for next year.

Thanks, Psjunkie. There were certain color contrasts that just didn't seem to work as well in black and white. Part of what I really liked about this photograph is that the lens I used had minimal coating. It was from the mid 60s. There were certain nuances of color that I felt really needed to stay.

Rascal!

How far away were you for that angle? Must have been a tele because none of the other walkers in the scene is looking your way. And how many shots did you take? Do any have both the young ladies?

Amazed how they can stay erect on those heels. I fall over on flip-flops. Lots of practice, I guess. Walking, not falling. Matt

Matt, not very far away at all. The lens was my 80mm Zeiss from my Hasselblad on my D700. I'd say they were not farther than 10-15 ft.

I should think walking in those shoes would take a bit of skill. However, they seemed to have mastered the technique.
