I am the odd man out here, Dave. I like the composition in the original image with the men looking in three different directions. A crop including the passenger would seem a more interesting story for me. And something other than grunge, I think, for a classic jag. I am not a classic car enthusiast, but both our sons are and they have educated me in the direction of enhancing the original of the classic. One opinion. Matt

I wouldn't say the odd man out Matt !!! Just prefer a different approach and that's okay. I do see your point with including the passenger and while I was tempted it just seemed too much of the norm. I didn't think of grunge, but others do see things differently than I at times.

Week #25 takes me out to Newport Beach Patio Bar in Newport, Ky this past Sunday afternoon. Sharon and I had a late lunch along with a couple of brews. While there I was able to capture a variety of shots. Some I may post in a different thread, but for now one image is of my son and a couple of colleague/friends as they DJ for this establishment from time to time. A couple of these are my somewhat normal B&W conversion, while one is entirely different from my normal procedure, but may be one I'll keep around for awhile for certain images.

All three well rendered Mr. Chinn...I'm even OK with the toned look in the first.

Who says B&W can't be vibrant? These are. That first one just jumps off the screen, there's so much energy there. Great work, Dave. I hope you printed some for these guys.

Thanks Minnie, this is something I have been wanting to try, but just haven't had the right photo to experiment with. These guys know prints are always available and I have in the past made them available. My son, when he is not behind the mixer and turntables offers promotional photo shoots for any of the DJ's needing images. I don't want to step on his toes, so I just forwarded those images to him to pass along if he desires. Besides, I'm not sure if there is any interest in B&W with them.
