One fun thing I have started with is to print onto canvas then put a layer of Mod Podge or similar over the top with a flat sponge brush. Next comes the really fun part. Where you have details in the print. Mix the Podge with gloss varnish and with a paint brush, brush over the details to give it depth. The varnish will make the Podge dry "very" quickly, so you can build up your height to where you want it.

That sounds very interesting, I'll have to try it. Have never used modge podge but my 7 yr old grandson insists it's the best!
