I've been playing with swamp images in post. This one has a painting layer to simplify the messiness, masked and blended in with toning and texture. Let me know whether it works and what you'd suggest.

Overall it hold my interest..nitpick would be darker tree trunk upper left not seeming foggy enough

interesting effect - my first thought was Blizzard (until I scrolled down, my first vision of it was top to beginning of reflections. It has an interesting mood to it

No blizzard just a fog. In the swamp the fog always sits several feet off the surface for some reason. There is so much debris right now because of what Tupelo trees do this time of year, it clutters things up. So I tried the paint method to make some of of the smaller clutter less obvious.
