Camellia Grill

I did this one up before I left for Cuba and never posted it. A mix of HDR and textures/layers/masks.

what Frank said - I enjoy the expressiveness. If I ever walk into that grill, I will feel that I have been there before. The image is memorable.

Thanks, Frank. I agree about the texture splat, I just missed it. I hope Dave will post a version if he took one. I can’t remember whether he pulled out the camera in there or not.

Thanks Piet. If you are ever in New Orleans, this is a place you don’t want to miss. The waiters have a lot of charisma. It is a bit of a time warp, it hasn’t changed since I was a kid and that’s a long time ago.

This is such a colorful AND wonderful image Minnie !!! Just the way I remembered Camellia Grill & my type/style for 'Breakfast in America'. I did take a few, but nowhere near as good as the one you posted. I love the post processing you have chosen, it fits the scene very well.

Oh dear, and there we are full of omelets and such. I like the one of the grill cook in action.

Glad you liked it, it is a little more HDRish than my usual, but that is something I've been experimenting with for use in some images.
