in your latest rendition I have been trying to figure out what was not looking right to me......I think it might be the size of the spearman standing, he seems to small maybe in relation to the horseman for where he is standing..if he were out in the water maybe his size would seem appropriate for the greater depth???

Knowing the area, I put him more downhill from the rider (and downhill from us) since he is looking up, but is good to know it might not be reading right..

Just to be clear, you are talking about how tall (high) he is (vs how "fat/bulky" he is)? There is about a two or three foot depth distance between the grass and the beach area - but that might not be reading as such... When I had the soldier higher/taller, it looked to me that he was standing directly in front of the horse, so that was an issue I was trying to work too...

I can't perceive the drop off because of the grass if that helps, so for me he seems small all the way around cause It feels like he's pretty much standing right by them....

I still have to work the transparency by his legs and all, but this should be better - I'm not around enough horses to know size/height of man standing next to him.
