My House

Post by minniev » Sun Jan 28, 2018 10:17 pm

Another fanciful conception. Some of the things we found in the closet in the old house were the ledgers from my great grandfather's store, and my grandfather's ledgers from the farm. They are those old fashioned blue ledger books that are about 2 ft tall, filled with spidery writing that almost looks like calligraphy. That stuff makes nice textures.

Oh my! Full of compelling pp, individual elements and overall composition. To know you created a texture from those ledgers...priceless!

Very well done Minnie. Love the colors, texture and the BW of the other room.

I take a lot of pictures to document the resurrection of the house but have recently got interested in playing with some in artsy ways. Thank you!

good job Paula, wonderful treasures you keep finding. I imagine the ledgers will find many applications, I imagine that some are worthy of framing just as they are!

Wow! Memory lane! Great time travel. Very inviting. The room at the end calls and summons. You are a wizard, m'am. Matt
