It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

Another Prairie Sentinal
Hi All
To those who have observed my Prairie Sentinel series, here is one I did awhile ago and it did not make it into the book, and I do not know why not!!
Probably got lost in the shuffle. Please enjoy. RBorud

I love this, it reminds me of Eaton Colorado. I have been photographing granaries, sugar plants and farms across Colorado for a book project of my own. This winter I hope to complete a few more of my farmer interviews for the text portion of the book. I would love to see more of these from your collection if you can point me too them

Another beauty. I do see why this one might not have fit with the others I've seen previously, as it is more like a pastel - tinted photo printed on canvas and less of the mix of pen and ink drawing and watercolor wash like the others.
The wide variety in your work is amazing. I hope you're still adding to this wonderful collection, definitely the most beautiful collection of industrial images I've seen.

I LIKE it! I love the pastels and the canvas treatment. Something else I find very cool is the train curving and diminishing away to the left. I can't say quite why I think that's so neat, but it is.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really.

Beautiful! My only criticism is I wish the edging on the right side weren't so prominent. Probably it stands out more because of the darker colors there.

I can't decide if I'm looking at an unfinished drawing or painting or both. I keep waiting for the artist to stop and carry on. Amazing! S-

Bobby I am sorry but these are not online and available, I can only show individual images periodically, all because of contractual matters.
