Miss Mannequin Takes a New Beau

Post by LindaShorey » Wed Nov 08, 2017 9:25 pm

Many thanks to St3v3M for wanting to know more of the story. Last time we visited, Belle's beau was experiencing a bit of a headache see here.

1. Seems he didn't recover and Belle has moved on to a dimmer - shall we say - Beau.

2. Hard to look ultra-chic when you forget to remove the price tag.

3. This was just supposed to be documentary for Steve; however, I started thinking about my rain walker and also about how I'd never tried motion blur effect...

Thanks for any feedback or suggestions. I lessened some of the window reflections in places, including an unfortunately positioned light pole on our already physically challenged Beau

Wow, I love this and see it as a continuing story throughout the seasons learning a little more each time as the mystery evolves!

Have you been inside, what do they see, was I right, are they a seventies chic second-hand store or something else, something more? S-

I had a lot of fun, Steve, and your idea to continue keeping track of them is most excellent! I haven't been in since they changed ownership. Writing on the window says antiques, furniture, collectables. I think I'll take my pics to show them and ask if I can take more pics inside :) Thanks again!

A quick search says they could use a cheap website with some stylish photos to help them sell their goods! Enjoy! S-

These are hilarious! You should repost the original over here. I want to know more about the stylin' dude down low on the right with the flowered shirt and broad brimmed hat. He seems to be wearing safety glasses. I wonder if he's got Beau's head.
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

LOL, you might be onto something there, Chuck, a ruggedly handsome dude for sure. Check out that chiseled jaw, and of course he is totally secure in his masculinity to wear that shirt! But...would someone this together have ever allowed himself to be in such a precarious position as Beau #1?

In the meantime, while cropping the below shot, I made an unsettling discovery about Miss Belle's legs! The saga of the missing body parts never ends :(

Thanks so much!!

YET MORE HOWLING HILARITY! Indeed, Mz. Belle seems to be levitating wraithlike above her empty shoes, perfectly normal for Halloween. But now there's the sweet young thing in hat, hornrims, and scarf, looking quite startled to discover that she's lost her entire body! If I were you, Linda, I think I might essay to see if Beau would mind wearing her head seeing as how he can't find his. :|

Steve and Chuck, so glad you're enjoying these as much as I am :) Chuck, are you available for hire as the writer in a collaboration? :)
