Exploding wine
Furthering my education in Photoshop special FX, here is one I played around with using a particle brush I custom made. I want to add a spiralling chasing lights effect also but I have to figure out how to do what's in my head. I'll post it later if i end up finishing this. In the meantime, enjoy my exploding bottle.

Oh WOW !!! A very effective concept that I like very much. Seems as though there is no end to Photoshop education and it definitely shows here Duck. Could you elaborate more on special FX? I'm not familiar with the term.

Very cool. I agree with Dave, there really is no end and we're just limited by time and imagination. Thanks for the demo!

Nothing fancy, just an abbreviated form of the word effects. I'm using Photoshop to create visual special effects.

There's are a ton of learning resources on YouTube. It's just a matter of knowing what to do when and on what. That, to me, can be a bigger challenge.

I don't have Photoshop but wonder if you could do something like this in-camera with a double-exposure of sorts. My thought is that you would take an image of broken glass, for example, then overlay it on the bottle in such a way that it looks natural. You may be able to control it more in Ps though. Neat! S-

Can PS put the bottle back together so you can drink the wine? A Cary Grant-Monty Wooley moment. Matt

Yep! I work non destructively using layers. One click and, poof, it's whole again.
