Blue Rocks

Postby pop511 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 3:29 pm

I have this silly habit of going back to pictures that are often failures and trying to save them by putting the subject into a fantasy setting. It's only done for my own amusement.
Now that I am back in Aussie I'll try to post more, but my lighting gear is overseas.
Have fun.

Interesting image 511, just enough painterly look of the gent to make it appealing...

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Yes you are right, when viewed from pic.
I gave him a blue and then a dark gradient to blend him into the background.
Have fun

I like it and think it was done well enough that it looks like you had him stand in front of a mural. Keep them coming! S-

Good to see you back!

The image works, and you've cued us to your intent with the title so we can understand it properly. The blending is handled well to mix the elements.

I do the same as you. In times when new captures are scarce, I go back and find images that had something appealing enough to make me hang onto them and dream a bit about how to mix the appealing part with some other ingredient to make the most of it. That's as much fun as the picture taking to me!
