Gee I don't know which I like best. I like the way you managed the light in the monochrome, and the way the armor and weaponry looks so metallic. But the birds and the rich colors in the color version are pretty wonderful. The horse is beautiful in both. You've brought your characters to life in the color one, where the monochrome is more a fantastical etching in a book.

thanks Min, let me tell you, the one was a lot easier to do than the other. But adding the color helps me learn how to play with color better, so it is a fun and useful activity - though very frustrating. There were many stages in-between where I felt that the image was like a teenager with a face breaking out, and I am still not all that happy with my results.
