Thank you. Are there some in PS ? I may have some and not know it. How can I tell?
Select the brush tool.
On the top row, you will see a small icon of the brush that you have selected.
Click on it.
A box should pop up showing you all the brushes that you have available.
I found some grut brushes that I'd had lying around because I didn't know how to install them, and figured out how! Now to learn how to use them! I have a large and messy collection of brushes, but don't know how to tell mixer brushes from the others, and don't know how to use them. More to learn, every day!

for the Grut Brushes... they have little colored letters on the icons, the ones in orange MI are mixer brushes. As soon as you find one, select it and brush with it, you will know and appreciate!

Spent some time adding shadows and highlight. The shadows I attempted to have warm and the highlights from light top right, I attempted to have cool. Coming along, but have to figure out what I want to do next to this. Might have to be a "clean up" phase - that certainly wouldn't hurt..

probably not, my plan is to replace a lot of detail with darkness and mood. (not saying I can pull it off). I want more detail than the Frazetta piece, but also want to capture his mood (if possible for me). Working more on the background and it is helping things a lot..

worked on the background more, used a mixer brush to smooth out hard edges where we didn't want any hard edges, and played with warm and cool. I'm not loving the fire yet, but the sky is ok. Getting to the edge of what I can do with this..

And then there was color! It’s starting to get good. I love watching this happen!
