Stunning kiss of death, my friend. Lulled by comfort, seduced by charm, eased among the dead. Matt

Piet, you’re getting better with this stuff all the time. I’m jealous. I’ll get back to work when I get home, but I can’t catch you, you’re moving too fast.

What was the model for your water serpent? How’d you set that up? The other I can understand better.

thank you guys - Matt, those words put a chill into me - you have a way with words. Minnie, I can't remember the specific model, but it was a 3d water dragon, a ship, and a fractal for the water rendered with Octane I think, a number of years ago. The original render is below - I replaced the water with a photograph of surf and applied a NIK impression to that water area to make it writhe.

If I was younger, I would go back and explore doing more 3d work - I think the skill set meshes nicely with PS. It is funny that the purists in the 3d world are often similar to the purists of photography - they will say "no photoshop", as if it were a badge of honor.

Purism of all kinds has become a bit tiresome to me as I’ve grown older. Beauty, magic and fun seem more valuable. Keep on imagining, creating and sharing these wonderful things, please.
