Thoughts from my garden bench!!

A lovely "painting" to inspire us. The angle you've used is very effective. We are often chided not to photograph from above, but this is perfect, and perfectly suited to a painterly interpretation. The way you've rendered the vase is especially pleasing.

My iris are long gone, but the lilies are beginning to bud.

Gorgeous! I keep thinking I gotta find a better, or at least different term than "painterly." (?) But that's the correct term so...

The question of painting is yes I have done painting in the past, but this venture is a quick grab while someelse was working with the garden. Then a little dash from a Redfield plugin and a whiff from Corel 2018 brushworks, and voila!
