New Years Day

Post by Ernst-Ulrich Schafer » Mon May 22, 2017 12:40 am

Another long term project I've been working on, "New Years Day". This was my favorite image of the day 2017. A favorite photographer Andrea Kertesz captured a self portrait on New Years Day and that image
started this project.

Best to ya'all, Ernst

I can definitely see the influence in your work. Specially in the chairs and in the ferry series.

The concept is similar but the execution is of course different, composed and processed in your own style, with your own tonalities. Nice.

Superb composition of shadows as lines of linear perspective figuratively pulls me into the image!
Wonderland inviting depth! with luxurious textures.
An incredibly sensuous image.
