Bound

Post by minniev »

Being snowbound for a week is a first in my lifetime. The roads have been closed, and most days the footing was too treacherous from ice to venture out. But on the days when I could manage to get some footing, I went for walks in the woods. I'm always on the lookout for stories of anthropomorphization involving trees, and when I spotted this one, I imagined an image, then went home and tried to create it - my photo, a photo of a piece of old paper, and an image borrowed from the Met's Creative Commons "use it" collection.

Here's the image and the result.

Yes, I know it's a little weird.

Thanks Frank. Being snowbound made me a little crazy.
