Hi, Frank,
“...a right brain left brain thing.” ?
Could you be more more explicit in exegesis of your purpose and reason for posting this image?

If I stare at the center for a while and close my eyes, I see a vague magenta where it was blue- green... as expected.
But I’m left completely at sea as to your point.

Edit:
To enhance hues I saturated and slightly increased contrast and sl. Reduced brightness. Then I do perceive a touch of pink in the grey.

The blue-green > magenta in the retinal after-image is accentuated.

Dave

I see pink shoes with shoelaces that are sort of blue green.

so strange... I see gray/green shoes (with the slightest touch of pink in some places in the noise to the left) . The laces are light blue/green/green to me, a strange kind of teal. The only white I see is the stitching highlights when the stitching is on the grey. And a camo khaki kind of green off shoe to the right.

I am inclined to suspect monitor and browser differences as much or more than individual perception.

I downloaded it and a quick touch of the white balance brush sorted out what was probably the real original look. Do we have white balances in our eyes as well as in our monitors? I sure saw things differently when I had cataract surgery, and lost a yellow tint I'd got used to over the years. Whites looked way too blue for a while. Vision is tricky...

Wow minniev...that never occurred to me.........so with a white balance adjustment I now see pink shoe, white laces.....I wonder if you now see grey and green? I think the thing is some see one set of colors and some see the other set of colors.....
