First picture you shot in 2020

Post by minniev »

Last New Year's, Duck started a thread about the last picture we shot in the old year. So this year I'm starting one about the first picture you shot this year. And surely you DID shoot one, or you will tomorrow. Add it here! I got out early when it looked like it might be a decent sunrise but couldn't go far because I had a ton of cooking to do for the family New Year's lunch. Here's what I saw when I parked the car. I got some better over the half hour I was there but this was the first.

Oh I love this! Are these the Chincoteague wild horses? I have never seen them. One of my very favorite photo shoots was Assateague at sunset some years ago. I would love to see them again.

Beautiful!

Yes - we went to the beach - I saw a king fisher with his private minnow, ducks, big bird, horses, sea gulls, egrets, and if we stayed longer a polar plunge. But this bear is smarter than the average bear, so I got out of there. The horses were pretty cool, they weren't as far off as they usually are.

Sounds like a wonderful start for the new year!
