Matt Quinn's Eulogy - Video Link

Post by minniev » Sat Jan 26, 2019 10:44 pm

This is the eulogy that Matt's son Mike gave at his funeral. It was hard for me to watch this, but it will give you a fuller picture of the life of our late friend. Mike's description of photographers as the "Record Keepers Of God" was something that can speak to all of us.

I could not watch this without bawling my eyes out.
A very well orated eulogy with a lovely narrative and a testament to the lasting, tangible power of photography.

Agree (about the bawling and about message of the power of photography.

I will always value the lessons I learned from Matt, and the friendship we shared with him on this forum. The last line of his son's email said "He was grand", and I agreed.
