For any who are interested, here is a link to the article published in Luminous Landscape today about my Dam Bird grant project. "The dam birds luminous endowment grant winner" is a project ALL OF YOU helped with, so I owe you all a big THANK YOU for your encouragement, your suggestions, your critiques, your support. I could not have got this far without the community of folks who walked this trail with me.

Fantastic, Minnie. The Rainbow Factory reminds me of the work of Georges Braque. But I may have already mentioned that and you probably already knew. Wonderful project and a grand contribution for posterity. Matt

Thanks Matt, and thanks for introducing me to Braque. I enjoyed looking at some links about his work. Did you know that the alternate name for the dam bird project was “The Cubist’s Aviary”? Rich Howlett on UHH suggested the name, and I loved it. If I ever do anything else with it, I may use the name.

I remember seeing the dam the first time and thinking, could this really be it, but you showed me how to isolate images within the image and find the beauty waiting to be found, it's a lesson I'll never forget. I'm constantly inspired by the quality of your art, but more so by your imagination, it's somewhere between a photograph and art, something in between and beautiful.

You deserve this and the outpour of praise from your social media groupies. Revel in it S-
