Happy and pleasant surprise

Post by Matt Quinn » Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:33 pm

I just learned that two of my 5 submissions to an on-line b&w exhibit have been chosen. Whodathought? Glass doorknobs and Snuggled. Many thanks to all who critiqued the photos when I posted them here, especially Minnie, Frank and Duck. Here's the link:http://www.photographycenterofcapecod.o ... #!pf179991

Yaay! I knew you'd break into display this year. You've been polishing your skills and honing your gifts, and here you are! Thanks for sharing. I'm so excited for you!

How good do you feel now?

This is fantastic news. Like others here, I am happy for your journey and proud to have shared in it, even if it's just a little bit from a distance. :)
A well deserved recognition. Now you have to print them large and proudly display them as award winners in your home.

Thanks Duck. You were the one who called attention to "Snuggled " and articulated what I could not but may have intuited. That made me pause and rethink and try to pay more attention to what catches my eye without wondering what others would think about the shot. A great help. Thanks. Matt

Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|
