PUT DOWN THE WHITE SEAMLESS AND BACK AWAY SLOWLY! Amazon now holds the patent we are not making this up.

And in other news, in 2014 Amazon secretly patented the use of white seamless backdrop and lighting for same for product photography. And the U.S. Patent Office let them do it! Duck, that kewl table thingy you built with the seamless...? It's illegal. Amazon can sue you into the ground and force you and your family unto the 6th generation to slave in Amazon warehouses in the, um, Amazon for, like, ever?

What do I do if Amazon catches me with these? :S :o :headshot:

Well, if Amazon attorneys come a-knockin' they can pry my white seamless from my cold dead hands. :devil:

I remember when this was fresh news. So many people slapped their foreheads wondering what the heck the Patent Office was thinking by granting this patent on something that (a) wasn't original to Amazon and (b) considered commonplace knowledge and practice by photographers everywhere.

I think I'll file a patent of my own;

I got hundreds of patentable ideas...

Be more specific. Are you referring to in and out or is it out and in? The lawyers will need clarification. :rofl:
