I was completely unaware of your "day job". However, you definitely have some incredible skills.

Fascinating and fantastic! I'm curious if you ever watched the reality tv shows with those tattoo artists? It's been several years for me so I can't recall any names (one was a woman), but I bet you do :)

No way. I can't stand all those 'fake drama' shows. Besides, I get enough of the real thing in my own shop. :-D

Today I spent the day packing up my tattoo shop. My last client was yesterday and I will be completely out by Sunday. It's a bittersweet feeling, som sadness, some apprehension but mostly relief to be moving on. I'm grabbing something to eat right now after a long day of packing and hope to have some time for more than a quick pass through next week.

yeah, I'm sure whoever invented that word "bittersweet" knew exactly what you are feeling.

Stunning. Living art. Has anyone ever asked to have a tattoo removed, i.e., someone's else's when they see your work? I suspect there is some pain in the process; do you have to anesthetize the area? Or do the clients do the bite the bullet thing? The fox is my favorite. Matt

It's been a few months since giving up the tattoo business and I'm trying to get used to the new, less hectic, way of life. As an alternative outlet I have been pursuing some avenues where I can sell my artwork and was just accepted as an artist in VectorStock.com. I'm pretty excited but like all stock sites I'm not counting on making a lot of money there. Stock is stock... I just uploaded my first two images and hopefully they'll approve it without any hassles.

If anyone is interested I will be listed there by my old moniker; Tat2Duck
