What's on your Christmas wishlist?

Post by Duck » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:31 am

The Christmas/Hanukkah holidays are less than four weeks away and (hopefully) everyone's been nice and not naughty. :spank:
Myself, I don't expect any kind of photo gear from my family as they don't know what I need or want. It's too cryptic for them. More than likely I will treat myself to something, I just don't know what yet. But if I had to pick something from my wishlist it would either be a pair of large softboxes with grids, or a set of apple boxes, for my studio.

Do you plan on getting anything interesting or exciting that is photo related? Gear, knowledge, photo trip? What's on your wishlist?

Glad you started this thread !!! For several years now I have been wanting a fisheye lens, but my problem is I can never justify the price with the amount of usage. I can see myself using it on occasion, but remain stored in the bag for the most part. There have been times I have envisioned scenes "Oh, a fisheye would be great with this or that scene", only to walk away with that old thought of justification.

Are you Santa, Duck? If not, do you know him personally? If so, please pass on that I'm yearning for lotsa stuff - a macro lens on top of the list, and more affordable for Santas on a budget. But if Santa strikes gold, I'd add the Olympus pro 300 prime and a new laptop since mine is stumbling on her last legs. However, in reality I'll be paying hospital bills for Christmas, so Santa is likely to be on a strict diet.

Wishlist? Health, wealth and happiness for all the pM-ers and the time to enjoy them. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Blessed Hanukkah. Matt
