It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.
Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers.

Welcome to photoMENTORIS, we hope you find the site and its resources of use to you. As with any social site, you get out of it only what you put in so take a few minutes and introduce yourself to get the ball rolling.

First things first

In the navigation bar above you will see your username. Click on it to access the User Control Panel. From there you can make adjustments to how you interact with the forum, send or read private member messages and more.

Your Profile
Take a few minutes to write a little about yourself in the Edit Profile section so other members can get to know you. You can also upload a small image to use as an avatar or select one from our gallery in the Edit Avatar section. There is also the Edit Signature section that will allow you to insert a signature line into all your posts. That's a great way to include a link to your website or image gallery so others can see more of your work. Remember that this is a social group so first names are always appreciated. Consider adding that in your signature.

Forum Rules and User's Guide

On the left side of the navigation bar, under 'Quick Links' are additional links to the forum FAQ and Terms of Service and a User's Guide. Take a few minutes to browse through and become familiar with them. They explain a lot about how the forum works and what we expect from our members. There are also a couple of helpful videos in the Video Guides section that may be useful.

Say "Hello"

Once you feel comfortable head on over to the Meeting Room and introduce yourself in the General Discussions section. Just start a post to say, "hello" and tells us a little about what you like to photograph, what you expect to get from the site or whatever you feel like sharing.

Thank you and make yourself at home
