OT: Custom shifter knob

Post by Duck »

We don't have an off topic section so...

I just recently made a super cool purchase I'm excited to share. Simply because this guy did such a fantastic job.

I have been searching for a "Duck" shifter knob for my Jeep Wrangler. I haven't found anything other than the Angry Duck from the movies Convoy and Death Proof. Not my thing. Then I came across the Etsy site of a guy (Mike of The Bone Yard Sculpts) who custom makes shifter knobs. I sent him a concept sketch...

...and today I received the completed piece.

If anyone is interested in his information please contact me but he's fairly easy to find. I just had to share this as he did such an awesome job for me. I love the little camera :photo:

There are no banal subjects in photography, but an infinite number of banal ways to illustrate them.

Are you saying the shift knob has his eyes?

Yeah, I have to agree; the duck looks a lot like me. Not the eyes so much as the goofy smile

I have to drill out the hole in the bottom so that I can install it on my Jeep. I'll post a pick when it's installed.
I'm actually ordering another just as a desk accessory.
