Hi Mike, if it helps, there are some helpful hints on how to use the various functions of the forum in the User's Guide. The link is just below the header logo above. If you get stuck with anything just reach out to anyone here and we'll get you sorted.

Looking forward to your participating here.

Thank you, this is a little different than what I'm used to but that's okay. It is refreshing to be part of a forum that is completely lacking in rude and sarcastic people.

By day I am a Correctional Officer and there is no shortage of negativity in this particular workplace so it is not something that I embrace with open arms.

Is this system set up with a way to view new posts on topics that you have posted to? I should poke around more as I haven't seen an easy way to do that yet but I will check out the quick links for some pointers.

Thanks.

Yes, a great place to start is in the Quick Links. Another useful tool is to monitor the Recent Posts section at the top of the Index page. A lesser known tool that is pretty powerful also is the Advanced Search function. Click on the gear icon in the search bar to access the advanced search functions. There are some features available in the User Control Panel you may want to play around with as well.

Per your suggestion, I did learn something new today and played around with the Quick Links function and it is MUCH easier that starting over with the Index tab. It takes me a little longer to figure this stuff out at present. Twelve hour work days aren't conducive to to the learning process. For some reason going to bed at 3 am and getting up at 9 am doesn't really refresh the brain bucket as well as it used to.
