animals and photography, if an 8 hour trip to the local zoo results in you taking over 800 photos. :D
Once I recover from all that walking and my knee stops creaming at me, I'll work on processing and posting some of the photos.

Sadly I'm the same. I love taking photos, but once home and I see the number it's daunting to think to process them all. I'm working on finding a better way, but someday someone's going to come across folders of folders of unprocessed images and hopefully become wealthy for it! (We can all dream!) S-

:D Not me Steve. I'm one of those strange folks that actually enjoys processing them, well most of the time anyway. I'm spending a good part of my 2-week vacation processing photos.

800 images - is that all - a walk in the park, or I guess in this case the zoo. :) (Tongue in cheek)

I came back from Africa with over 3500 images to go through, granted it was ten days of photography, but after 4 trips to the Dark Continent, I am a little more fussy than when I shot over 5000 on my first trip. My friend, who is a professional, probably shot more than twice what I did, but then he is more deadly with his editing than I probably am. He is looking for a few special images and if they aren't there, then the image is gone - he probably keeps less than 10% of what he actually shoots. I remove all the "bad" ones - out of focus, body parts cutoff, pokies, etc. and then still only process 10-20% of the images. Lightroom is your friend.

My friends wonder why it takes a few weeks to get a selection up on Flickr - I suppose yours do to.

Tom, I am like you, I enjoy the challenge of processing my images and just love to experiment with them.
