I am still seeing how far I can get with photos before they turn into photographic art. This one's on the border. Something that grows in the swamp, a mix of normal processing and a layer of Corel Painter blended and masked in certain spots more than others.

Minnie, your artistic ability never ceases to attract my attention of subject matter I have hardly any interest. The composition & depth of field keeps MY focus on the subject and creates a pleasing image to view. I'm not sure if you have applied a canvas layer, but what ever it is sorta shows a slight grunge along with the help of the framing. Everything seems to be justifiable, IMO !!! :win:

Thanks so much Dave. It has a canvas below with green paint on it, and grunge above, with a few layers of image with each treated differently and masked. Sometimes there is nothing to shoot other than simple subjects I find in the woods, so I use those for these little exercises.

Thank ya Frank. I had to look back to find that little hint of blue, I’d forgotten it. These things happen sometime when I’m manhandling a file, the colors shift a little. Always good to have that second set of eyes!
