It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.

I use to shoot flowers, but lost interest somewhere along the way, but that doesn't mean I will never make the attempt again. This one Frank, has a paper/artificial look to my eyes. That's not a bad thing, it's just what I see. :look:

Minnie's version has the pink tone that no one cared for in some of my B&W's. I can't figure it out. You didn't like the tone then but now do? Maybe it's because it's a flower? :look:

you know, now that you've mentioned pink I can't unsee it...I think before I had my brain tricked into more of a brown sepia..
