I like the first especially, I think the dark background gives the red and the ice punch. In the Autumn, an image of ending. In the Spring, an image of beginning. Always of struggle eternal!

Linda, Is that the moon in the first? If so, an amazing photo. Superb. The detail in the ice is rich; and the color in the rose is entrancing. Grand job. Matt

I have seen and enjoyed a lot of your work over the years and I think these are three of your best. The collision is exquisitely illustrated in each one and the light and color is wonderfully rendered. This fall has a strange rhythm to it.

Piet, Matt and Phil - thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed a bit of the mood I tried to capture. Matt, would you believe that light source is a lamp post? I saw how it appeared so nicely out of focus in the background, and said gotta keep that

My favorite is the second one. All three are good but there's something sparkly about the red leaves amid the snow with the blue, blue sky.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really.

Thanks, Chuck! It's definitely a happy red, white & blue photo

I love snow filled trees but I really like the first. There's something beautiful about a rose covered in snow! S-
