It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

Another kind of lily
Different breed, and in color. I don't think this one is native but an immigrant that's adapted to our environment. All suggestions, critique, edits welcome-

I love it! I see nothing to critique. The light!!! The light is exquisite, and the composition is wonderful, with the two tiny developing leaflets balancing the great flower, like tiny moons orbiting a gas giant.

Thank you Chuck. I wasn't sure about that quirky little touch in the left corner, I am blaming Freeman Patterson for it, right or wrong.
