It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

Another lovely flower. well taken in what looks like a very bright sun. You've used the shadows from that difficult lighting to help define the lines in the composition. I like the angle, and though I sometimes fuss about parts of petals being cut off, the fact that the cutoffs are several and balanced defines this as artistic choice. (but I kinda would like that topmost petal tip back if you have it sir

How you managed to get the whole thing in such good focus and all that detail at that angle is a wonderful mystery, too. I love it.
Thank you so much! A white flower in the midday light isn't ideal, but I tried my best and shot a few frames purposely cropped in looking for an artistic flair. I should have shot a few wide out then cropped in, but this one felt right the way it is. I have plenty others that room around them if you would like to see them too.
These are amazing flowers! S-
