Color from Ernst

Post by Ernst-Ulrich Schafer » Sun Jul 22, 2018 10:28 pm

Coming back from Seattle the other day we took a detour to see Chief Seattle's grave site and I noticed this flower by the small church in the cemetery.

Intriguing in their use of a reduced color palette that still shows off their color. the composition on the first one is wonderful geometry, what a great eye you have for that Ernst!

What I really love about this is the shadowplay. It would be a wonderful picture without it, but what really makes it stand out are the multiple shadows. (OK)

(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|
